Spencer has over twenty years experience in brand and digital product design. His work is guided by a passion to help transform organizations through design and craft experiences that shape culture. He believes that inviting clients into the process is essential to creating work that is strategically sound, conceptually inspiring, and creatively powerful.

He started his career at Ogilvy's Brand Integration Group (BIG). There he cut his teeth working on branding and design projects for clients such as Motorola, Coke, Duracell, and American Express.

For 12 years, Spencer co-founded Brooklyn-based creative agency Apartment One. As creative director, he led projects for a broad range of clients including Poppin, Rock The Vote, Google, and NYU Langone.

In 2013, he co-founded Tendr, a simple and elegant cash gifting platform for life’s important occasions. There he led all brand and product design efforts.

Spencer currently co-leads the brand design practice at Aruliden and lives in New York with his wife and two daughters.
